ART WORKS Projects

Art Works Projects provides visual advocacy tools which bring international awareness to human rights crises. Conceptualized and created in conjunction with long established humanitarian and human rights advocacy organizations, these art and design exhibitions, books, recordings, films, and other media provide opportunities for large numbers of the general population to engage in ending major rights violations. AWP's agenda includes genocide, extreme sexual violence against women, the global shortage of potable water, forced labor and human trafficking, and child soldiers. AWP selects topics which are the most intractable, least covered in the mainstream media, and most abusive for victims.
