Unbelievable Testing Laboratory creates technology driven footwear that pushes the boundaries of style and function by bringing together seemingly unrelated combinations of technology, innovation and ingenuity. Our brand was born on the busy urban streets of the world where great people come to live, amazing events happen daily, and where tomorrow's leaders learn and play. It's through our design that we wish to empower young people to do great things. We do this by helping great educators inspire children everywhere, so that younger generations are equipped with the knowledge needed for an ever changing world. We make this happen by donating a significant portion of proceeds from every pair of shoes we sell to local education foundations. The LIGHT WING series weighs in at an impossibly light 150 grams, you just haven't worn a shoe like this before. To put it in perspective for you, the LIGHT WING is less than half the weight of the classic in casual shoes, Converse's Chuck Taylors, which weigh in at around 450 grams. Lead designer Token Hu and the UT.LAB team have spent countless hours designing shoes from materials never thought possible. Partnering with Dupont, we introduced TYVEK, a US manufactured material, as the fundamental element in all of our LIGHT WING series shoes. TYVEK is an ultra light, space age paper that is virtually indestructible, water resistant and super comfortable. If you could construct air into a shoe, this is what it would feel like.
