Terasom Ltd.

Terasom is a translational, innovative biomedical startup focused on developing novel technologies targeting cancer and biological processes associated with natural aging. These technologies are based on microfluidics and nanoparticles that serve as "cell-free delivery cargos". Here at Terasom we believe in state-of-the-art interdisciplinary research. Since our very beginnings in Prague, we have been spending a significant amount of time developing and perfecting projects with the endpoint of treating patients suffering from lung cancer. Here, our key competencies lie in performing preclinical in vitro studies on advanced specific 3-D human co-culture models, specially developed to directly mimic related tissues in patients. Combined with both in-house and collaborative molecular biology expertise, our in vitro results already highly correlate with in vivo studies. Our research plan incorporates a broad approach to establishing complex studies to target lung cancer, as well as working on a variety of molecular therapies centered on restoring healthy tissue function in aging.
