Tamba Africa is Zimbabwe's first social and inclusive dance circus theatre established as an alternative intervention tool to empower, educate and address key social and development issues affecting marginalized youth and their communities. Our mission is the holistic transformation of lives by means of creative advocacy co-created through social circus and inclusive African storytelling by applying social circus methodology to positively transform lives and communities. Social Circus refers to the use of circus arts as mediums for empowerment, social development and change through alternative pedagogical tools to work alongside young people who are marginalized, at-risk and disadvantaged. The 5 main activities of Tamba Africa Social Circus are: 1. Talent Identification, Development and Promotion 2. Inclusive Arts Education and Training 3. Awareness Raising on issues of Inclusion, Social Development and Equality 4. Cultural Artivism on the Rights of the Marginalized and Excluded 5. Preservation and Promotion of Intangible African Cultural Heritage
