Seaforth is proud of its local roots having been established in Kenya in 1980 with the aim of providing a modern, forward thinking Kenyan ship agency company. Over the subsequent decades we have experienced incredible progress earning a reputation as the leading independent ship agency company in East Africa focused on the provision of efficient, proactive and safe agency services. We were one of the first companies to start operating in Tanzania after the liberalisation of the ship agency industry in the early 1990s and have since opened a sister company in Tanzania (Seaforth General Agencies). We later partnered with GAC (Gulf Agency Company) in both Kenya and Tanzania - giving Seaforth a strong global partner and GAC a solid East African presence. In 2014 Seaforth became ISO 9001:2008 certified as well as TRACE certified. Both achievements show our commitment to maintaining international standards, continuous improvement and transparency.
