Rotary Club of Gibraltar

The Rotary Club of Gibraltar has a proud and long history and we celebrated our 50th Anniversary in 2015/16. We received our charter to become part of Rotary International in 1966. Since then we have formed close social ties with many clubs in the UK and on the 1st July 2014 we joined District 1120 and became part of Rotary International British Isles. Rotary helps us become better leaders, individuals and humanitarians. Our organisation is founded on people, relationships and taking action. We use our professional background, skills and connections to change the world for good. Rotary is a global network of 1.4 million neighbours, friends, leaders and problem-solvers who see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change – across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves. Over 46,000 Rotary clubs in more than 200 geographical areas unite across cultures and occupations addressing illiteracy, disease, hunger, poverty, and lack of clean water Having a sense of community unites us, and makes us feel like we are a part of something greater than ourselves.
