It was the late Narandas Odhavji Ruparelia who established a small business as the sole proprietor and agent for imported coarse salt, from Masawa Salt Works. As a result, the company expanded its network throughout East Africa and its neighbouring countries. In 1975, Mr. Narandas Odhavji Ruparelia decided to expand his empire and brought on board his son Mr.Bharat Ruparelia. Together they created a successful partnership known as Narandas Odhavji & Company.
