Kaprikornus

Publishing house Kaprikornus is founded and registered on the 3rd of March 1995 in Skopje, Republic of Macedonia. During it's 20 years of existence Kaprikornus has published works of Macedonian authors, translations from English to Macedonian bilingual (English - Macedonian) books for children and other works relevant to cultural heritage of Macedonia. From well known global authors, Kaprikornus published William Shakespeare ( Complete works, 201,), John Milton (Paradise Lost, 2007), The epic of "Beowulf", Oscar Wilde, Ted Hughes and others. From Macedonian authors most-published author is Dragi Mihajlovski and in the field of cultural heritage of Macedonia, the author Dobrila Milovska with couple of books regarding the handwritten traditions of the Macedonian churches and monasteries. Kaprikornus additionally published bilingual books for children and fairy-tales derived from global and Macedonian traditional stories. Beside publishing business, Kaprikornus offers translation, proofreading and graphic design services. Founder of the company is Brankica Mihajlovska, Professor of English Language and literature.
