People are mostly happy to have an alternative mode of treatment that is claimed to be free from side effects if practiced hygienically besides its a sunnah treatment, which was employed on and recommended by the last prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wa sallam mentioned in authentic ahadith. A full-body hijama therapy combines with a therapeutic massage lasting at least 75 minutes. Hijama or cupping is a safe, non-invasive and economical way of curing and preventing many diseases. In this non-surgical procedure, toxic or 'bad' blood is drawn out from the body. "Hijama" literally means "sucking" in Arabic and is the Islamic term used for what is known as "Wet Cupping". Minor, superficial cuts are made on the skin that was being dry cupped. The suction pressure under the cup would then simulate the toxic or unhealthy blood trickling out and cleanse the disease or inflamed area of pain in the body. Strict rules must be followed when administering wet cupping, in accordance with the Sunnah or practices of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Muslims believe that Allah SWT prescribe hijama cupping to be practiced by human beings to promote good health.
