Created on June 15, 2009, by MUSAVULI MBUTHO Moussa and Thomas EGLI, the CSSAC signed an agreement with objective Sciences International on March 26, 2010, giving it membership and exclusive mandate on the Central African area. In January 2011, six members have approved the statutes of the CSSAC. The notarial certifying the compliance of the statutes of the CSSAC to the law in force in the DRC, was signed on 19/01/2011 by the 'Direction de chancellerie et contentieux '​ of the General Secretariat at the Justice of the Ministry of Justice and human rights in the DRC. The CSSAC enjoys legal personality, which is granted by the Ministerial Decree of December 05, 2011 as an Association non-profit non-denominational.\\\The CSSAC aims to contribute to the construction of the scientific and technical capacities for sustainable development, through the promotion of science education and scientific culture in the region of Central Africa and Great Lakes.\\\This vision, dear to objective Science International, draws including the Declaration on science and the use of scientific knowledge and «Science Agenda - framework for action», annex to the World Conference on science for the 21st century held in Budapest (Hungary) from 26 June to 1 July 1999 (organized by UNESCO and the international Council for science)which offers a guide to scientific partnerships and the use of science in the service of sustainable human development and the protection of the environment.\\\Anticipation of education science and scientific culture in Central Africa, is an essential requirement, given the pressure that will the growth of this segment of the population to its environment over the next 50 years, in terms of development factor or factor of self-destruction.\\\The CSSAC is chaired by Mr MUSAVULI MBUTHO Moussa.
