Background of the company One day while returning from a vacation visit from Ganta City to BWI Campus in September of 2016, a truck stock packed with local farm food products broke down thereby leading the whole stock to waste. Few days after my arrival on campus, I broke the news to three of my campus friends who were reading agriculture and another automotive, they felt so sorry about the loss story told. A month later, Agro Links Enterprise Inc was born. THE BUSINESS and ownership: Agro Links is owned by a Young Liberian Entrepreneur (Mr. Abel P. Varney). The company is registered under the Commerce Law of the Republic of Liberia as a corporation operating in the food and agricultural industry. The company is located iin Kakata City Margibi - Liberia with plans to create operational units in other parts of the country. The company is operated by Mr. Abel P. Varney with a specific focus on farming, processing and packaging operations in different farming communities particularly in Margibi County-Kakata City. The company is also engaged in the in training and mentoring services to women and young farmers to grow food without using synthetic chemicals. The company's endeavor is to ensure that adequate supply of food is available to meet the market demands but using a more eco-friendly means. The overall aim of this company is to reduce the huge post-harvest losses incur by local farmers in the country by creating an alternative that is more agro friendly in appreciating farmers efforts.
