AIB Bank is supervised by the Central Bank of Aruba (CBA). The CBA oversees AIB Bank's compliance with the relevant State Ordinances, for example the State Ordinance for the Prevention and Combating Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing (AML/CFT). AIB is a privately-owned company with shares held by local and international financial institutions and individual shareholders. AIB Bank has a two-tier board structure consisting of the Management Board and the Supervisory Board, ensuring proper checks and balances.
